The Department's hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm. An on-call officer answers calls after 4:30pm Monday thru Friday and on weekends and county holidays. The on-call officer responds only to emergency animal calls.

An alternate method to get hold of an officer is to call Berkeley County Sheriff Dispatch at 719-4170. They can page the officer on duty.

If missing an animal contact the Doc Williams SPCA at 761-0683 or visit the Animal Shelter at 502 Cypress Gardens Rd. They are open for reclaims Monday thru Friday 12:00pm - 7:00pm, Sat 12:00pm - 4:00pm, Sun 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Owners who can no longer keep their pets, for whatever reason, can turn in their animals at the shelter. Please call first so they can make an appointment for you to drop-off your pet.

If looking to adopt a pet, please contact the Doc Williams SPCA Adoption Center at 797-0610 or visit the animals at 109 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek.
